Willamette Week's 6th annual Give!Guide is set to launch this year on November 11th--in print as well as online. Last year's Give!Guide netted over $820,000 for 55 worthy nonprofits in the Portland community. This year, just under 80 nonprofits are participating, with a financial goal of raising at least $1M in aggregate.
It is also the Give!Guide tradition to award four outstanding individuals the Skidmore Prize for doing great work in the nonprofit community, who are under 36 years old, and employed by one of these participating nonprofits. Skidmore Prize winners will be announced at a November 13 City Club luncheon, and will receive a $4,000 cash prize and a handsome plaque. Stay tuned....
